Fees

The following payment methods are accepted:

Credit Card - MasterCard or Visa only. Card number must have 16 digits.
No other credit cards or travellers cheques will be accepted
Eftpos debit card) - when paying in person at the Perth Registry.
Cheque or Money Order - made payable to: Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
Cash - when paying in person at the Perth Registry.
Overseas customers - Must pay in Australian dollars using an international money order or bank draft made payable to: Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages.

Change of name

Preparation and registration of a change of name, includes a certificate - $156

Change to a child's given name/s once within 12 months of birth, includes a certificate - $44

Search of records (each name) - $31

Replacement change of name certificate (1957 onwards) - $44

Additional Priority

Priority service, in addition to any other fee - $34
