Fees

The following payment methods are accepted:

• Credit or debit card - MasterCard or Visa only and card number must have 16 digits. No other credit cards or travellers cheques will be accepted.
• Cheque or money order - made payable to: Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
• Cash - when paying in person at the Perth Registry.
• Overseas applicants - must pay in Australian dollars using an international money order or bank draft made payable to the "Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages".

Reduced fee certificate

Birth, death or marriage certificate at least 75 years old, when the registration number and registration district are provided - $31

Additional priority

Priority service, in addition to any other fee - $34

Correction of a birth, death or marriage record

Addition to, or correction of, information in the register, includes a certificate - $44

Search fees

Search in an index (including a search over any period not exceeding ten years), includes a Result of Search certificate - $31
