The Gender Reassignment Board deals with matters relating to a person’s reassigned gender under the Gender Reassignment Act. If you were born in WA and your gender has been legally recognised by the Gender Reassignment Board, an application can be made to the Perth Registry office to amend your birth certificate (see download below).
If you were born in another State that has similar legislation, apply to the relevant Registry Office for your birth certificate.
We are located at Level 10, 141 St Georges Terrace, Perth. The public counter is open Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm (except public holidays).
